Aeration plays a crucial role in keeping the conditions at our golf courses in great shape. Aeration opens the soil and helps the soil breathe easier and makes for healthier turf. While it may provide a short-term inconvenience, it is ultimately to the golfer’s benefit that we aerate each course one day in the spring and one day in the fall each year. Weather permitting, the schedule is as follows:
Spring 2026
St. Andrews Golf Club
- Monday, April 6 – Greens Aerification on front nine
- Tuesday, April 7 – Greens Aerification on back nine
- April 6-10: Discounts will be given for a round that includes an aerated green: $5 discount for a 9-hole round / $8 discount for an 18-hole round
Sykes/Lady Overland Park Golf Club
- Monday, April 13 – Greens Aerification on the South Course
- Tuesday, April 14 – Greens Aerification on the North Course
- Wednesday, April 15 – Greens Aerification on the West Course
- April 13-17: Discounts will be given for a round that includes an aerated green: $5 discount for a 9-hole round / $8 discount for an 18-hole round
- Monday, April 20 – Greens Aerification on the Par 3 Course
- April 20-24: $5 off green fees on the Par 3 Course
Summer 2026
