Aeration plays a crucial role in keeping the conditions at our golf courses in great shape. Aeration opens the soil and helps the soil breathe easier and makes for healthier turf. While it may provide a short-term inconvenience, it is ultimately to the golfer’s benefit that we aerate each course one day in the spring and one day in the fall each year. Weather permitting, the schedule is as follows:
Fall 2025
St. Andrews Golf Club
- Tuesday, September 2 – Aerification on front nine
- Wednesday, September 3 – Aerification on back nine
- September 2-6: Discounts will be given for a round that includes an aerated green: $5 discount for a 9-hole round / $8 discount for an 18-hole round
Sykes/Lady Overland Park Golf Club
- Monday, September 8 – Aerification on the South Course
- Tuesday, September 9 – Aerification on the North Course
- Wednesday, September 10 – Aerification on the West Course
- September 8-12: Discounts will be given for a round that includes an aerated green: $5 discount for a 9-hole round / $8 discount for an 18-hole round
- Monday, September 15 – Aerification on the Par 3 Course
- September 15-19: $5 off green fees on the Par 3 Course
